The Heartsaver Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) course contains up-to-date content and science from the 2010 Guidelines for CPR and ECC. It is designed to teach lay rescuers the lifesaving skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and relief of choking in adults, children and infants, as well as how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) with both adults and children. (Training in infant and child CPR and choking relief are optional.)
